A confection of lace and roses!
This iconic dress is a true one off, and was a flagship piece for the national vintage wedding fair, featured in all their imagery.
A unique original piece from the late 1950's, it's likely this dress was worn to charming effect by a debutante of the era. It would make a beautiful wedding dress or summer ball gown.
Tiers of mellow ivory tulle and rosebud lace cascade down the full skirt. The strapless bodice has subtle rouching at the bust and is boned front and back, creating a wonderful fifties silhouette.
Straps or cap sleeves could be added on request, or a lace bolero found to cover the shoulders.
At home with a soft petticoat as shown, or add a full petticoat for a Veinnese Waltz style.
