This beautiful dress has been created with antique lace and vintage fabrics in an Edwardian style - a true heirloom gown to treasure!
We created this dress in the 1980's in our studio using lovely old lace and silk, and it has returned to us ready to find a new home.
Made with exquisite habutai silk, which is very fine and flows like a dream, with outstanding examples of genuine Edwardian lace at the neck, cuffs and hem.
Notice the leg-o-mutton sleeve with lace detailing and delicate lace cuffs, the elegant lace neckline and bodice front, and the fullness of the flowing skirt.
A hooped petticoat can be added for that Edwardian silhouette - we have several available from £50.
With it's high neck, full sleeves and flowing skirts, this dress is the epitome of Edwardian elegance.
Our model Claire Zorana is a UK 8-10, and 6 ft 2, and the dress is above the ankle on her. A hooped petticoat would shorten this gown considerably.
